My two cents
Google Music - welcome to the lions den
With Google music launching last week, the digital music ecosystem (Google, Apple, Amazon) just got more treacherous.
From the depth of their music libraries, to the free v paid cloud-based music lockers, the optionality and value propositions available to consumers just grew exponentially.
The real indicator will be switching costs and how flexible consumers really are with where we get our music. Its gauranteed Google and Apple’s platforms won’t talk to each other — so are we willing to buy and store music in 2+ locations?? Android users likely will - and as their numbers grow (!) so will the viability of Google’s competing solution.
This is what great turf wars are made of.

My running perspective on anything and everything going on in the news today -- I don't purport to be the best informed person in the world, but am curious to see if people have the same questions I do when they read the morning news. General interest areas are anything media, marketing, technology, or business related.
